We had too many mental errors on defense, gave up too many big plays, turned the ball over too many times and didn't execute on special teams. When you do those things, it generally results in something like that.

Thanks man!
I do agree with what you are saying on the staff perspective but do see the other side as well. And its the reason that in my gut says we should have kept Hue for one more year because our current Offensive personal were built for that particular style O not for what knapp brought. That falls directly on DA/RM i will agree. But its like i said when do we stop perpetuating the cycle, it sucks i bleed silver and black like we all do but logic dictates that we can't keep burning the house down because the faucet leaks nor can we expect to build a team of hard workers and leaders when all signs point to their being no real leadership at the top. So to answer you directly yes that would be the ideal situation to wipe it again and start new but its 50/50 whether we are here next year talking about the same thing with new or old because there are so many issues on staff and player personal sides. I love this team but gdamn are they frustrating lol.
On the conditioning, that falls on coaching and the strength and conditioning staff. you also have to get the guys who play for the game not just the check. We have alot of paycheck guys who dont and wont put in the extra work or follow off-season conditioning requirements yet make millions each year. If we were going to go with an unproven coach we could have went a 100 different ways. BUT (always a but lol) wouldnt it be just as bad to pull a Cleveland and give up a possible Belicheat because we didn't give him time. You got me on this man i honest to God don't know the right answer anymore. We have reached the damned if you do, damned if you don't scenario.
So happens I'm an ND fan also lol, my gut tells me he is the real deal. Ive watched just about every game the last 2 years and the kid is that once every 10-15 years kind of player. Reminds me alot of a Ray Lewis, Singletary kind of LB a guy who can Anchor a defense and put it on his shoulders and i think we need that as we have no true leader on our D. Size wise he and Ray are identical, put 10 more pounds on him and he is Rays size when he came in the league. And unlike past years we don't have MONSTER offensive lineman to contend with in our division like we used to as evidenced by Von Millers ability to disrupt games. That being said we need picks and as much as I would love to hang my Te'o Raiders Jersey beside my Te'o ND Jersey we are so needy in all areas it might be best to pull a New England and trade down and stock pile picks, trade-day trade players away for picks and focus on the rebuild. That would maybe be the only Win/Win scenario for us this off-season. We pick him we get a hell of a player/leader or we trade away and get a later first round and a nice second round pick.
