We had too many mental errors on defense, gave up too many big plays, turned the ball over too many times and didn't execute on special teams. When you do those things, it generally results in something like that.

Do we use him as trade bait for more picks this year or do we hope next year will be different and he wont get hurt again? As much as I love his explosiveness I think we have to cut bait. I think even in a power blocking scheme he still will get hurt to easily. Especially if Knapp remains. One thing that boggles my mind is that Reece can generate yardage in that zone/power scheme through the middle and off tackle but DMac can't. I think its a combination of his speed and the scheme, when I played semi-pro and Arena we had a kid who could not run in the zone/power scheme we used. He and i would argue every game but after watching film he was just to fast to the hole for the wash down or the cuts to develop the gap but we had our "slower" guys who thrived in it. I really thought he would be more of an Adrian Peterson but we need picks and we need picks bad.
