move raiders needed to make
Authored by: davis83 on Friday, March 23 2012 @ 10:09 AM CDT
The one move the raiders needed to make was to resign Michael bush. he is the insurance we needed if Mcfadd went down.
Bush is a grinder . a true power runner. Now the raiders need to find that type of player either in the draft or free agency.
Bush was the best fullback out there. Too bad the raiders could not secure him. He would have been the piece that would have made the raider's offense complete.
I know the great Al saw how valuable he was and he would have resigned him.
Mark Davis should have really studied the footbsll philosophies of his father

Well I guess it had to change but did it really??????????????????
Mark Davis who became the heir apparent decided to not get involve in the football matters and let the GM run the football side.
but I figured Mark Davis in giving up the reins didn't have a clue on what the greatness of the raiders was all about and the football philosophies of his Father, the great Al Davis.
The raiders with Al whom Al built this organization believed in Power. Power football as opposed to the west coast. His offensive line with guys averaging 6'3 280-300 plus was built for power.
In one of Al davis's last intervierws , he talked about the zone blocking scheme vs, Power. and the great Al had a distaste for the zone blocking scheme that was one of the reasons he got rid of Tom Cable because Tom advocated Zone/blking.
I am heating now is that Knapp and the offensive will go back to the zone blocking scheme. Number one do we have the offensive type line players to do it and 2nd how effective will it be . The type of team we will be seeing will be different than the great raiders superbowl teams. if you look back at the 3 lombardi trophies the raider's won look at the type of line and plyers the raiders had. these teams were built on power football and the great Al beleieved that power would is the way to go.
I know its early and we know Reggie is putting the team together but I am just saying that this team will be modeled differently. Al Davis in seeking his 4th superbowl was modeling his teams to the past and you know the one he last assembled with Hue Jackson was a power philosophy. and now it's been dis-assembled and a new offensive coordinator is in town. I hope Madden, flores and ex raider's can at some point remind Mark Davis of the blueprint Al Davis created, built , implemented and believed in. result = 3 superbowl trophhis and 13 division titles.
ill tell you who is happy with bush leaving

the AFC west is celebrating thats who especially the chargers is this move really un avoidable with a super star runningback who runs like a diesel but hes made of glass.... mcfadden has yet to finish a full season and bush has been everything mcfadden and then some by actually staying for the most part healthy and RELIABLE I strongly believe we should have traded mcfadden this year simply because after the next season ending injury w'ell be lucky to get anything for him worth what was waisted on him to begin with

and why did we need to get rid of kevin boss? makes no sense it was hue who decided to go without a TE after davis passed away

it seems like we were kinda almost there... but now??? its more like were rebuilding more and anything... we dont have a draft this season? no SH$T but thats even more of a reason to sign the players we already have and FA is our draft (kevin boss, bush, whos next tommy kelly?)

Here's What We Have
Authored by: killem on Sunday, March 25 2012 @ 03:21 PM CDT

Let's not argue facts, OK?

Let's make shit up that people never said (strawman arguments) a la Tankie (better known as Licken Chittle, or 'LC' for short) and run with it and play pretend. Yes, make shit up, pretend people said it, then go on with it as if they did. While doing this slander the front office for nada, and call them a few derogatory names at the same time.

Yes. Here is what we have: Lies and name calling. All done in order to have a pretend 'win' come December.

After this, let's prematurely and without reason call Reggie McKenzie pugnacious and inflammatory names, doing the same to Dennis Allen as well. I mean, this is what grown men do, correct? Yes, let's call them names and mock them prior to any evidence for doing so.

Also, let's attack others for using phrases we don't recognize and imply they're idiots for doing it. If that doesn't work, let's become the 'spelling police' a la oak_raid and talk sh*t for a typo. I mean, why face the facts of the real argument? Let's instead resort to these things akin to apes slinging corn infested shit at the spectators. Yes! Then when we do this, we know 'we've won!!! because we brought the best and greatest slam of all.'

Congrats!!!

That's right folks, let's not face the facts, nor hold ourselves nor others accountable for lying strawman arguments. Instead, let us focus on sh*t statements, ridicule, name-calling, typos, slander. You know, just like 2nd grade.

well its been along time since ive visited.. my baby daughter will be 1 year old in 3 weeks.. ive got full custody of my 14 year old so i have been busy to say the least.. i really havent had time to post.. but i can see nothing has changed.. still the same brow beating.. still the same arguements.. and still the same insults.. this is worse then a soap LOL.. at least the dead can come back to life in those hahaha..

hey its simple. we were left in a huge mess thanks to the outragous contracts.. would have liked to see wimbley stay and restructure.. and would have liked to see Bush resign .. simply couldnt.. Mcfadden is amazing when healthy.. unfortunatly he cant stay healthy.. if we tried to trade him we maybe get a 4th. no one would want to give up anything higher because.. hes always hurt.. dont see that changing anytime soon..

anyway.. i dont think we win more then 4 games.. Allen is a questionable choice at HC.. i thought that we should have kept hue.. and hired Del Rio as our DC ... kept the continuity there.. let Mckenzie settle in rather then uproot everything.. i honestly thought we were a DC away from big things in the playoffs..

anyway.. back to the baby.. peace and RAIDERSSS BABYYYY
